Plumbing Product Warranties

At Chosen Rooter & Plumbing, we stand behind our work and the products we install. That’s why we offer the following warranties on plumbing equipment and service.

Water Heaters

Gas and Electric Tankless Water Heaters:

  • Factory Warranty, normal use, non-commercial, no galvanized piping in the property.

Gas Water Heaters (Residential & Tank Type):

  • 6-year warranty on tank
  • 1-year warranty on parts and labor

Exclusions: Direct vents, power vents, multiple units, or any heaters being used in a commercial capacity. An expansion tank must be in place if applicable. Vent and gas piping must be properly sized, and the vent line must have a proper vent cap in place. Multiple unit applications refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Electric Water Heaters (Residential & Tank Type):

  • 6-year warranty on tank
  • 3-year warranty on controls

Exclusions: The heater must not be used in a commercial capacity, or exceed residential use parameters. Multiple unit applications refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Pipes

Drain Line Repiping:

  • 15-Year Warranty with the system up to code

Exclusions: No drain line stoppages would be covered. If any other alterations were performed on the drain system that were not done to code, the warranty would be void. Pertains only to the portions of the line/branch that Chosen Rooter & Plumbing worked on.

Water Line Repiping:

  • 5-Year Warranty with the system up to code

Gas Line Repiping:

  • 5-year warranty with the system up to code

Toilets and Drains

Conventional Drain and Sewer Cleaning:

  • 6-month warranty with one return visit

Exclusions: Warranty applies only to blockages we successfully clear. We will try our best to clear the stoppage. Not all stoppages can be cleared, however.

New Toilets:

  • 3-year warranty on materials, labor, and all parts except the seat
  • 1-year warranty on toilet seat

Toilet Repairs:

  • 3-year warranty on a completed rebuild
  • 1-year warranty on all other repairs

Sinks and Faucets

Garbage Disposals:

  • 9-year warranty on 1 horsepower
  • 7-year warranty on ¾ horsepower
  • 5-year on ½ horsepower

Faucet Repairs:

  • 1-year warranty on cartridge replacement
  • No warranty on rubber washers

General Faucet Installation:

  • 2-year warranty on general faucet installation

Moen Faucet Installation:

  • 4-year warranty on faucet
  • 2-year warranty on hose under normal use
